Our Commitment to Health Equity

MVC is committed to integrating health equity across all aspects of its work, striving to ensure that every individual has opportunities to achieve optimal health outcomes. MVC's Emphasizing Health Equity Strategic Initiative is structured around five key strategies, which collectively will highlight opportunities for improvement, expand collective knowledge, and foster collaboration throughout the state of Michigan.

MVC recognizes that striving for more equitable health outcomes requires collaboration within the CQI portfolio as well as across healthcare and social needs organizations throughout Michigan. By equipping members with valuable resources, insights, and opportunities for shared learning, and ensuring that MVC’s data offerings include equity-focused analyses, this initiative aims to advance a healthcare landscape where all individuals have access to sustainable, high-value care.
